Meet Dr. Joseph Lim

Dr. Joseph Lim operated his own practice in Southern California for nearly 15 years before moving to the Big Island. He graduated from dental school at Columbia University in New York and graduated from UC Berkeley for his undergraduate studies. After graduating, Dr. Lim completed a General Practice Residency at Loma Linda VA Medical Center. He has also studied under Frank Spear at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. His expertise is in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, general dentistry, implants and root canals.

Dr. Lim has a heart for providing dental care to those on the island who cannot reach or afford care. After doing outreach on the island at the end of 2020/ early 2021 with YWAM, he and his family have a calling to serve those in need here, especially the southern end of the island. As a result, Dr. Lim relocated his family to Hawaii, so that he can devote his free time when he is not working to ultimately deliver dental care to these areas.

Dr. Lim personally enjoys fishing, golf, tennis, mountain biking and classical music, as well as exploring beautiful spots on the island with his family.
